We do this process mechanically in a clean environment, retaining the freshness and crisp taste of the peanut. Blanching the peanut improves its color by transforming it to solid white, while also destroying its anti-nutritional factors making them easier to digest. Blanched peanuts are used as a snack or as the base for peanut butter and sauces. They are used mostly for cooking and baking.
